Busy Season
Life is pretty busy right now! My brother, his wife, and their sweet little baby just left, and the house was filled with laughter, tears, and cousins getting to know each other for the first time. So many lovely moments! Now, I'm heading back to the studio to finish up my Tulips Series, which I plan to release in about three weeks. This collection has a mix of darker shades that really make the colors pop on the canvas. Some pieces are more subtle, while others are vibrant and lively.
I recently enjoyed a stay at the Nine Orchard Hotel, and it introduced me to three amazing things. The two playlists they offered have become a part of my home atmosphere, reminding me of my time there. And I can’t stop thinking about getting one of those speakers! Maybe someday...

The Jacquemus Store is a dream seating scenario.
With all the painting and family time, I want to keep this week low-key and share a few things that have recently brought me joy. Here’s what’s been lighting up my days!
We enjoyed these candies in our hotel room, and now a box is coming to me. They are amazing! On my next trip to New York, I plan to visit the store and stock up on a whole bag.
BonBon's Sour Wild Strawberry Fish
I can't help but keep thinking about experiencing Happy Menocal's customs detailing the corner bar and the blue room.
My son is absolutely in love with these silver shoes. They bring him so much happiness! We affectionately refer to them as his "fast shoes" because they make him feel speedier than Lightning McQueen. Sadly, he can't wear them to school since they have laces instead of Velcro, but we just had to bring them in to show his teacher.
I wanted to express my appreciation for Sulieka's Substack Isolation Journal. A few weeks back, her Prompt 310 about the power of saying yes struck a chord with me. I have a senior dog named Willie, and it's been challenging to come to terms with the fact that he now requires diapers. I'm doing my best to keep loving him for as long as possible. This article wonderfully captures how nurturing a pet can lead to healing.
Olympia Marie crushed it with this JCrew Ad. I have a Josef Alber book in the studio because he knows color. I have loved watching Olympia take Jcrew and transform it over the years!
This product has changed my life. I went through a hair journey last year after having the worst haircut of my life while pregnant with Sunday. It was a humbling year, to say the least. Happy this bad boy found me and I have recommended it to everyone in my studio.
